I know Netflix wants to get rid of the physical media anyway. We still use Blockbuster since they are right around the corner. I was all set to make the change to Netflix but i might watch how the market adjusts to the competition.

I wanted Hulu, Netflix and a basic cable package.

We'll soon see!

As soon as I received the email from Netflix I canceled the streaming service and went to 1 Blu-ray out at a time. All the Netflix movies are so old that streaming is just not worth it for me. I would much rather pay $6 per movie via vudu's HDX streaming for movies that I need to see sooner. HDX quality blows Netflix away.

They have just announced they will be opening their services to 43 Latin American countries next month. So cancel away and see if they care. They are like all the others, get you signed up and then go up in price. Evidently they have plenty of bandwidth to spare. $7.99 here on unlimited streaming, the wife likes the old stuff. I downgraded from 1 DVD (Blu Ray) and streaming @ $ 12.99. So I guess I'll skip one meal out this month to pay for it.

Woulnt you raise your prices if your cost jumped 10x? Blame the greedy studios.
