Has anybody used one of these yet? The price is too appealing not to take a look at it. We were going to install the Chief CM2L40 but it's 4x the price.
I would glady swap out the Proconnect model if it didn't work for my customer but the thing I'm most concerned about is the cabinet depth. The Chief is much deeper. I don't want the cabinet guy to build to the Proconnect spec's and it's a bust. Any experience?

I have one on the test bench and it does move up and down. Haven't done anything else with it yet.

If it's anything like their analog audio cables, then the left and right side won't raise the same length. ;)

If it's anything like their service, it will work only part of the time and won't move very quickly.

So far, I think it's a good alternative at a price point which can work in a lot more projects.
I was told it is using Bosch motors and it's certainly not too loud.

I looked at one for a project. It's too tall so I cant use it. One thing to note is that it does not have adjustable limits. The price sure is right though.

You Can set one Limit which is the Top with a set screw on the controller. You could also develope a macro incorporating a timed delay using the IR codes UP then TIME DELAY then STOP

PK, that would work fine if you always run it to the stop in the other direction. That might be obvious, but I like to be Captain Obvious when it comes to planning details like that.
