Is there an app that will allow the I touch to be updated with out removeing it from the wall? Like after adding a song in I tunes, or a firm ware update.

It takes 4 screws and a little skill to remove, but hoping my client will not have to do so.

The firmware update is a problem but if its just a touch than that could be very infrequent.

For the songs couldnt you use Airplay to a desktop or Remote app for Apple TV instead of loading directly to the itouch?

If you are using this as a docked ipod instead of an in wall control device/viewer than I think you are using the wrong dock and should consider the open face docks.
