I have a new client whose old installation company went out of business. The door to his Escient won't open so I was going to use the Escient PC software and my PC to pull his existing music off the unit before it totally crashes and install on another server. I can't remember if the Escient software has to sync with their website or stands on its own.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Call their tech support. It still exists. Had to call today myself.

You dont even need to use the escient software. Just navigate to the escient on the network and manually copy the music to a new drive.

That's pretty simple. I guess if that doesn't work I'll take SD's tip and call tech support. I thought they were gone.
