Definitely an uphill battle. It's a waste of my time trying to explain the downsides of 3D, so I just sell 'em what they want and get on with my life. It's such a shame that the public at large jumps on to these trends the way they have with 3D. Kind of a sad statement about our society.

3D only belongs is a dedicated theater with a large enough screen to get the "correct" field of view for 3D.

i'm one of those that gets a headache from 3D, at least now I know the technical reason for it.  the only time I enjoyed 3D was a few years back at Universal Studios theme park watching the Terminator 3D mini film.  Maybe because it was too short to give me a headache?

Yes. I notice that 3d depth looks great for background but when it's done with foreground effects too aggressively it looks weird to me.

not a fan of 3D so sad to see the sheeple buying into the hype!

if your gonna do 3D it should be on a huge screen!
Ed will be known as the Tiger Woods of the integration business, followed closely with the renaming of his company to "Hotties A/V". The tag line will be "We like big racks and tight holes"...

just wait, they will bring back Smell-O-Vision when they can't profit any more from 3D.

Some things amount to nothing more than someone who sees something shiny on the ground. Then, when they're told that it doesn't work well, they just want it more- a typical "human nature" response.
My mechanic told me, "I couldn't repair your brakes, so I made your horn louder."
