So, I finally got a new phone. The original Razr can be tossed.

I moved to Verizon and got a Droid 2. Now I need a micro SD card. It comes with 8 gigs and I want to use 32 gigs. Which card to buy, I now ask.

I’ve found this --

I just love that it doesn't have an ad-pater. Hey, at least it's incorrect in both the description AND the url!

and this one’s on ebay, but what’s a TF card?

I’d appreciate any input you’ve got, including an explanation of why one kind of micro SD card might be good and another kind might not be good.

Thanks in advance.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Newegg has always been my go to for PC gear, not sure about the specific brand of cards (which being best) just make sure the higher GB card is actually supported...my .02

i would personally go with at least a brand i have heard of. the sandisk you show would work. the adapter is really not to big of a deal as you can read/write to it by connecting phone to PC. the adapter lets you slide the micro sd into standard sd sized adapter to be able to slide it into any pc with card reader. it is nice to have but not necessary at all.
I love supporting product that supports me!

You want to choose a reputable manufacture for the same reason you would for anything you purchase. Quality, reliability, performance.
Cheap, off-the-wall brands can have higher fail rates, not read & write as fast as they are suppose to (causing issues), and all this can lead to lost data and/or frustration.

I like SanDisk, have never had a problem with any of the cards I've ever purchased with them. And there as been a lot over the years (cameras, cellphones, game systems, thumb drives, etc...)
Other good brands have been PNY, Kingston, etc...
