Not sure of the exact model but its one from this series.

[Link: lg.com]

I used a Sanus mount with the same model and it was a pita. The little pull strings pulled right off the mount and the goofy plastic locking clips wouldnt allow me to use the included kickstands. When i tried to use one the locking clip broke off. [Link: abt.com]

I need something with no breakable plastic parts.

Thanks

I would like to avoid the custom part of the installation if i can :). Its an apartment and i have to go back @ the end of the lease and fix what i break. Those back boxes might suck to deal with when im older and fatter in 2 years.

Having said that.. the customer would flip out if i got the TV that close to the wall. I would probably have to put the same bracket in the Den where i used the Sanus once he saw it.

I followed your link to abt.

It says that nobody has reviewed this mount yet.

Why don't you spend a few minutes writing a review?

The problem with LG panels it that the connections all come straight out of the back of the TV. Samsung and many Sonys have the connections at a right angle. It gets very hard to mount an LG close to the wall because of the connections..... You can use right angle adapters, but if you are doing more than HDMI it gets really cumbersome really quick.

Sounds like the pull straps on the Sanus LL22. Not a good design.

Yep. Might as well use the Snap mount since i need some sort of recessed box anyway.

Is the bracket you used slimmer then the VMPL250 from Sanus?  I have used that for relatively slim line of brackets and it has worked out pretty well.   It's solidly built and doesn't use the stupid strings for the safety.  It has a bar you slide in to lock the tv in place.

Yes. The 250 shows 1.25" on the website and 1.31" in the PDF. The one i used is .55".

I prefer the 250 style though.
