A quick search proved fruitless.

They all seem to be 4-5 inches deep.

Are there any that are lower profile for smaller projectors. (Epson 705HD).

Hmmm,

Went to their website and all the mounts look pretty standard.

Am I missing something?

How low profile do you need? I think Premier has one that can be a short as 2.8" but that's about it.

What are you mounting it to? I've taken chiefs' projector specific mounting plate attached to a floor flange above a drop ceiling and the projector was less then 2" from the ceiling.

After looking at the specs of that projector it only weighs 5 lbs. You could just velcro it to the ceiling, which I wouldn't do. Or make your own mount out of 1/8" aluminum strips and mount it as close to the ceiling as you want.
Who says you can't put 61" plasmas up on cantilever mounts using toggle bolts? <---Thanks Ernie ;)

Thanks for the premier suggestion! That is lower profile than the others.

I like the other suggestion too, although I cannot do it in this scenario.
