I don't think the ZP120 is bad, fine for kids rooms or spaces that are more just background music. However of course a separate 2-channel or good multichannel amp will sound better.

The party zones and volume linking is great, system is easy to use. Just sonos and a NAS is great. If they use a laptop you need a way to sync the itunes music library and playlists to the NAS.

We've done a few systems but not many. For Audio only and for kids rooms, its great.
