In addition to it being in Amsterdam, it's a great show. It covers residential and commercial/pro so it is an ideal show for us. We have distributors and dealers come from all over the world.

I am going. I have been going the last few years and the exhbition has grown a lot to the point that you can not see everything in those 3-4 days especially if you have a few appointments with your suppliers also. The show is also heavily targeted towards the pro and commercial markets and the digital signage market. Still it is the best show in Europe for the resi market also.

who doesnt love going to amsterdam? Count me as one. I used to go there once a year for IBC (International Broadcasters Conference -- Europe version of NAB). While it can be interesting the first or second time, it can get boring quick. And the weather, well, coming from Seattle I shouldn't complain but I will :). It is drab and lousy especially this time of year. That said, it is a clean city. People speak excellent English. And has a great Airport. Nice for biking. BTW, it is not necessarily the safest place in the world late at night. A few companies back, our bizdev people had taken a client out to dinner. On the way back were waiting to take the tram and got ambushed by a bunch of thugs wanting to take their cash. They ran off and got away from them but it could have been worse. So if you are going, be careful after hours and try not to look like tourist.

Wireless speakers? Of course Sir. Choose the colour and size you like. As you don't seem to think sound quality is important, I will not plug them in. |

I live in Baltimore, many places I don't go in the day let alone at night. Amsterdam is cool at night, just stay on the main streets.
