I am installing an LCD in a clubhouse on a cantilever bracket next week. The main association contact just called and said they needed a way to lock it to the bracket to deter theft and other than using odd ball machine screws or creative use of a pull-apart from my security system parts bin I am stumped and am considering asking them to go with a tilt only bracket.

One thought since they have internet was rigging up a motion activated camera that texts the association guys when someone gets near the TV...

I have yet to see Lag bolts for a wall mount that use a security head? I have used the desktop/ laptop security cables, but they are pain to make look decent; no wires/ cables hanging from odd places.

I did a Pantel TV outside where we installed a security contact and tied it into the security system as an instant alarm. If the TV seperates from the mount the alarm goes off.

I was going to use one from DSx like a Monster FSMARTM or Diamond PSW701AT (probably the latter) or Mxxxtspro mp109b.

DSC 1555 panel. I wonder if it could be partitioned...

What about using a pull-apart?

Tying it to security system would be easy. Use pull apart or garage door style contact. also consider the the chief pnr/pdr/mwr series. you can put a small lock on the little spring clip that holds the tv into the bracket. It won't help with security of bracket to wall but would definitely help. you could always grind down corners of hex bolts after mounting. check chief they have all sorts of security products.
I love supporting product that supports me!

I wouldn't use anything from DSI.....I used one of the diamond articulating mounts and it was soo weak I replaced it with one from snap on my own buck and tossed the peace of junk in the trash.....you get what you pay for. DSI is impossible to get anything sent back even on their own mistake, their answer is "can't you just put it in stock" worst disty I have ever delt with

Just get a power drill and use a slightly bigger socket to give it some security. ;)
