If you want to see jeff Bridges check out True grit, not so much special effects but good old fashion fun, guns and western stuff.
BTW what's the word on Green Hornet? I remember growing up on the series and Seth R just doesn't seem to fit my memory of the character. He looks more natural with a bong in is hand and that unmade bed look. Bit of trivia, in Hong Kong the series wasn't called the Green Hornet but the Kato show, they saw Bruce Lee as the hero not sidekick.

True Grit is great. I saw it last week. Much better than the happy go lucky John Wayne version (and I love John wayne westerns).
Personally, I really liked Green Hornet. But I never saw the old TV show (before my time). Seth plays the typical loser rich kid (think Billy Maddison and Tommy Boy). For most of the movie Kato keeps him from getting killed. But Im sure you can figure out how that works out in the end. I think its probably setting up for a sequel (or 12), and this is kind of a "how he started".
It might have helped my opinion that I havent seen the old TV show and couldnt compare it.

Torn is one of those movies that you really should see on the big screen. I'd be willing to bet that none of us have as good as a sound system or projector as in any good 3D digital theater. I saw it on a Friday morning matinee, so there weren't a lot of people there. Its good to be the boss.
