I have a need for a projector for a small commercial job. It will most likely be an 86" 16:9 pull down screen in a smaller board room area.
I'm currently looking at Epson.
The projector needs to be white.
The customer would like it to be able to connect their mac or pc laptops wirelessly. I see that Epson has a USB feature with some of their projectors that will display a laptop wirelessly. I'm wondering if anyone has tried this feature and how well it worked. This of course is a little tricky since it could be displayport, vga, hdmi etc.
I've messed around with a couple of wireless HDMI options with VGA inputs; Briteview products work pretty well when its close to the projector but it's kind of bulky and I was hoping to find something a little more compact.
I guess I would also consider the iogear products.
They would also like to be able to display a blu-ray DVD decently as well.
Oh yeah, and they would like it to be compact!
Any input is greatly appreciated.

We use the Wireless IOgear all the time..They work great, they have 2 versions, 1 with VGA and 1 With VGA +audio...They work great, we've never had any problem whatsoever.
However, you do have to install software for the unit on the computer(s) I typically ask if the client has any outside vendor that will come in and do presentations on the projector...If that's the case, we hardwire it.

Yeah. There will be lots of different resolutions from different computers, and it's hard enough to make it all happy when it's wired. Introducing wireless can't help but make it work less often.
