Its not a firmware problem. Don't mess with the firmware. If you try to skip versions in an upgrade, you WILL brick the unit. No if's about it.
Civil War reenactment is LARPing for people with no imagination.

I suggest updating the unit and bricking it. "They shoot horsed don't they?"
Chasing Ernie's post count, one useless post at a time.

damn, would you please stop beating around the bush!!! :) duly noted. ill leave as is and maybe check TIA method of Cat5e termination. We always use A so i would imagine it might benefit a termination change. I am actually not going to do anything until the next time it happens and get him to confirm it is all or just 1-2 keypads.

I wish i had never sold them that. It all started because he was insistent on using Pronto TSU-9800/RFX-9600. Money was not the object, he just did not want Crestron TPS-6X or TPMC8. he had an 8 at a previous home and tried the 6X at a home we had previously done that he rented while building his home. He said he liked his TSU-9400 better than any other remote but wished it was larger..... So, TSU9800 it was.

At that point, AAE my go to DA piece was out of the question. i wanted something decently higher end so B&K it was. the rest is history!

Again thanks, everybody.
