Man ---- I'm shocked nobody has listed this one:
[Link: amazon.com]

IMHO It's by far the best one. - good work light on it, fits in super tight spaces, and won't rip your arm off.

I use it for hole saws, and all of my spade bit drilling - when not using the cordless.

You do have to be very careful of it's trigger when it's "hot" - And I have a scar on my forearm to prove that point. - but that's true of a lot of these right angle drills.

They do make a cordless version also.

your shocked no one has mentioned a corded drill for getting into supertight spaces? that is th last thing i want to fool with when climbing into an attic to the depths of hell in an eave with no space. now if you had linked to cordless version you would have been spot on.

when i bought ryobi years ago, i couldnt find any other brand of right angle drill other than the dewalt 12 volt. i wanted a little more power and opted for the 18 volt ryobi. i have never looked back. and i love the swiveling battery.
I love supporting product that supports me!

i just looked up the right angle makita. it is very nice and obviously a much higher quality drill. i would put the usefulness and ergonomics of the ryobi against it any day of the week. the trigger is to far back to push on head of drill and squeeze trigger one handed like the ryobi. combined with swiveling battery and the fact you can buy 3-4 ryobis for the price of one makita, it is a no brainer. at least give it a look!

i can appreciate that but there is no comparison between that combined with regular cordless drill and a true cordless right angle drill. just the shear footprint alone. also the fact it cant be used with one hand rules it out of most of the applications where you would actually need it.

True, but I get a lot more torque than with any cordless right angle drill I've ever used, which translated into a lot less time drilling.
