1- This thread is a year old.

2- Airplay only works w/ Apple devices

3- This device sucks. Great idea, terrible implementation. Wish I could scratch it from an article and sub a zp90.

Works great in some locations and sucks in others. I've also found that bluetooth in some devices (especially the iphone seriously sucks.
The retail locations (Verizon Stores) where these are installed do very well. My house does very well. Some clients homes don't let you get out of the room before chopping up.
In these cases I find that 99% of the time they are using an iphone and my Android phone reaches way further.

In the end the product is OK but not worthy of bragging about. Could be much better.

The thing to remember is that Bluetooth was never intended to be used over long distances. The primary purpose of Bluetooth was to provide a low power wireless connection, especially for small devices with battery constraints. WiFi is overkill if all you need is a headset to communicate with a device a few feet away. Therefore, many devices have very limited Bluetooth transmitters to conserve battery so they don't work very well past a few feet or through walls, etc.
