Have any of you had any experience with sound masking systems? Thoughts, concerns???

Very simple installation. Just use your "favorite product here" white noise sound masking system.

I forget the name of the product I used last time, but, it was a very easy install. Runs over CAT5 and is daisy chained from speaker to speaker. Termination is done with RJ45's.

If I remember, I'll let you know.

Atlas makes several options for sound masking. My favorite supplier offers the line.

I commisioned the system for our headquarters, and it is remarkably effective.

I've seen little round boxes that simulate ocean sounds. I've seen panels built to go into the ceiling above a drop ceiling. It depends on the scale of what you're doing.

Do those "engineered" walls go all the way to the celing? Is there an actual seal between the top of the wall and the ceiling? If there's a 1/2" gap at the top, you could probably add 10 dB of isolation by stuffing sound board into the space.
A good answer is easier with a clear question giving the make and model of everything.

Looks like I'm a bit late to this thread, but I wanted to chime in and mention the company we used for sound masking in our office. The company that makes the system is Logison ([Link: logison.com]) but they have distributors across the globe that handle the actual installations and product support.

We've been extremely happy with the performance of the system so far.
