Are you saying that you are posting a request on a public forum but exlucding 2 of the regular posters from answering your question? I personally like seeing what WhiteVane and TrunkSlammerSupreme have to say.

Control4 wins the battle when put against Crestrons entry level product.

Now lets compare steak knives to assault rifles.

Yes, for now at least. I do believe Prodigy is growing and will be very competitive within a year or so.

For use, C4 wanted a $50k per year minimum. We are small and with no experience in advanced systems beyond RTI (1-way only at the time) this was a hard commitment to agree to. This was also about a year or so ago when the economy was going around the bowl for the 3rd or 4th time.

We took on Prodigy, but I don't have a definite opinion of it yet compared to C4, but it does kill the small RTI and URC market. RTI can actually do more than prodigy right now once you get to a certain size.

Control4 all the way when compared to Prodigy. Control4 is easy to set up and gives the customer a great user interface. I personally thing the on-screen gui is stupid but my customers love it. Control4 is very scalable small to large, Prodigy does the small to mid size jobs well, but you have to step into adagio+ to larger installs. Unfortunately the equipment is completely different which makes upgrades a complete system change over. Control4 is all on the same platform which you can keeping adding on to over time.

My 2 cents worth.

Umm.. this has been addressed already.. why do people continue to try and reinvent the wheel when a perfectly good solution already exists. Midgets are the HDMI of control and we are component. The quality isnt quite there but our product works every single time.
