Back on the subject of Kennedy's assasination, I used to frequent a political based forum quite a bit. And there was also a regular poster there that was a marine. Often on a slow day he would post

After I watched the movie JFK I believed that there was a conspiracy. A few years later I found out that a lot of the "facts" in the movie turned out to be Oliver Stone's opinions, and some of it was outright BS. For example in the movie they claim that Oswald was a bad shot when actually he had passed the Marines proficiency tests for marksmanship. The History or Discovery channel had a program where they recreated the shot, six stories up on a target moving the same speed as the motorcade and multiple people where able to make the shot, 80 yards with a scoped rifle isn't that tough. This was just one of many inaccuracies in the movie, after watching many documentaries on the assassination I believe that Oswald did act alone, and will until evidence proves otherwise.

You need to dig a bit deeper. There is far more truth in the fillm JFK than there is in the Warren Report.

You do know that Lee Harvey Oswald failed a parafin test on the day of the shooting right? Which proves LHO did not pull a trigger that day.

Or that LHO was an agent for ONI, the Office of Naval Intelligence since the mid 1950's?

And that he was also an CIA agent in 11-63?

And that he was a paid FBI informant at the same time?

Or that E. Howard Hunt on his death bed admitted that it was a CIA hit and that he was in Dallas on that day? EHH is considered a primary candidate for one of the famous railroad yard bums arrested and then released shortly after the shooting. That being the rail yard imediately behind the grassy knoll.

Or that LBJ was about to be indicted and likely prison bound, which went away when he became president?

Or that a teen aged LHO served in the Civillian Air Patrol with David Ferrie, generally considered to be the pilot who flew the actual assassins out of Dallas?

If you really care, the book 'JFK and the Unthinkable' is a good place to start.

Oh yeah, that Marine mentioned earlier is an obvious CIA disinformation troll.

'Marksman' is one of the lowest passing grades by which a Marine can pass the rifle exam.

The stuff you see on the History Channel is designed to have you think LHO is the man. If you look, the proof is not hard to find. As LHO himself put it, "I am just a patsy". Rent the movie 'Executive Action' to hear him say those words.

The truth is out there if you are willing to look for it.

There is a LOT that the Warren "c"Omission screwed up.

The test results on LHO are correct in that they were negative for GP residue.

The Carcano rifle supposedly used had drastically uncalibrated sights and even when properly sighted was highly inaccurate due to bore manufacturing variations.

The Xray radiologists in Bethesda had Kennedy's Xrays BEFORE the body supposedly arrived.

The techs who loaded the body saw entirely different wound expanses than the WC claimed. In fact there was no large chunks of brain matter, only small scraps and the brain itself has been "lost" (because it would show trajectory)

When you see Jackie Kennedy crawling across the trunk, some say it was to help the SS agent on board. She herself said it was to retrieve a large part of his skull seen in digitally cleaned images to be laying on the trunk. She handed the skull fragment to the ER docs at Parkland.

To the naysayers: just saying there was no conspiracy outside of LHO and making snide comments does NOT make it so.

BTW as to government hijinks; most people think and the media concurred that the WH had no taping system before Nixon. Guess what. The first was put in under FDR and every president since has had one and Nixon's was the poorest quality. It used cheap Electrovoice lavalier mics "hidden" all over the place. They were originally operated by the Signal Corps but civvies took it over to prevent any military involvement in WH procedures becoming public knowledge.

One of the techs at my first job was on the install team for FDR's system which used wire recorders.

One of my favorites is "the brain is missing". But the Kennedys were devout Catholics (ok, that could be debated with his womanizing and other things ) and one of the beliefs is, like Jewish customs, all of the body must be buried together to get to heaven. It is most likely that the powerful Kennedy family had the brain retrieved from the coroners office to be placed in the casket with the body.
