I don't think that would help enough - it's a REALLY tight fit.

Hello, I am trying to figure out what size conduit can I use to pull a 50'+ HDMI pre-made cable with at least 4 bends in the conduit with out damaging the HDMI cable.

2" And grind the edges down on the cut pipe before you fit it together.
I may be schizophrenic, but at least I have each other.

Get an HDMI cable with a "tech flex" jacket. Something that is not just the standard PVC. Once you get it around 2 sharp bends, you are done. Or use some lube...but that gets messy (commence making childish remarks....NOW).

The tech. flex or whatever you want to call it slides pretty easy around the bends. But I still would not chance it. If it starts getting hard to pull, yank it out and lube it up (continue with the childish remarks here). What kinds of conduit? ENT? PVC? Either way, you should try to install it with less "bends"....make sweeping bends if needed, but never hard bends.

thanks for the info. the conduit it for a commercial building that i am doing design for and we need to tell the cable pullers what size conduit they will need in Chicago. Do you think 2" dia. conduit is too big? can 1-1/4" conduit work?

i have seen the rapid run solder connections inside the adapter housings fall apart. i would rather deal with hdmi over cat5e.

We have seen the same thing. The pins on these things are fragile. We used the vga versions of this and learned really quick that you better make sure you treat these ends like the game "operation" when putting ends on these dudes. Very easily bent and broken pins.
