Oh yeah. I installed some outdoor speakers at my in-laws house today in Chicago.

That lead to beer and BBQ. Good day if you ask me.

We actually came here to recharge and organize things.

Missed you by a few thousand miles. Just drove from Florida to Long Island. One of these days you should stop by my place for some beer and BBQ. Feel free to install speakers if you need to :).

I have a better chance of bumping into you in a random rain forest than Chicago.

I feel your pain. I have been doing nothing but quotes and ordering stuff the last few weeks. I honestly have taken on too many projects. I need to organize things today to get a grip on my schedule for the next month. I never thought I would ever get busy like this.

I am at the point where growth may be unavoidable. I am trying to stay lean but I also don't want to loose good jobs because I cant meet timing.

What I wont do is fail to complete the projects I have. I hope things stay steady but it is crazy.

I was in the same situation. The problem I found in the end is I spent soo much time taking care of those projects, I could not actively seek more work. When those projects came to completion, everything died down. I need to get things to steady out so there is constant work, not feast or famine.

Golden,
thats how I have been

7 Projects month 1
4 Projects month 2
1 Project month 3
6 Projects month 4

so on and so on.

You have to market while you are busy. It sounds completely overwhelming but it has to be done. This is where a solid installation crew of two is ideal. I am training my junior tech to do everything and it is working. Just need to pace ourselves.

Yeah, that's what I have been trying I work towards. I just have not been able to find good help. I HAVE I get myself off the jobs to keep things rolling consistently.

Finished up this rack today ready for install next week. It's two 7.1 systems (or a 7.2 and a 7.4) in two adjacent rooms, one of which gets the new SIM2 SIRIO.

(EDIT: The fingerprints on the rack come free.)

Nice work. Love the logo wall behind the rack. Can't wait to see the finished project.

Dropped the van off to have the shelving installed that came with the purchase of the van. They are also installing the divider. They are fairly basic shelves, but I think I can add drawer units to it. I will get pricing on that later on once I figure out what I will need. Can finally start loading it up though this evening.

I am more fortunate now to have a really good tech that I can send off and he will take care of it. I have 2 other tech's That are new and need their hands held. I found that if I spend all my time working" in" the company rather that "on" the company. We will dry up too soon. It required me to work long hours and get the bids done. Then I schedule jobs. I have a theory that as long as we are pre-wiring a lot of customs, We will always have something going on.

Not as impressive as the SIRIO project Terrmul shows above, but worked on this theater today. Installed acoustic core and began stretching fabric.
