Yep...just sunk $1600 into mine 2 weeks ago(included 4 new tires). windshield was leaking, $90 to reset. I left there and it decided to piss radiator fluid everywhere. That is $407 installed and now needs a $255 power steering pump.....it never ends I dumped $1800 for a spider gear and stuff a while back, like $3000 grand on brakes, tires, and a host of other crap, just did an alternator a short while ago. The list just keeps building. Need something with a warranty, so I am at least only out on wear items.

I told you if I didn't travel on the Merritt Parkway most of the time where trailers are not allowed, I most definitely would. Would still need a truck to pull it of course. Camouflage paint, no one will know

Actually, it is more than that. We are replacing a prepro, dsp and amp with this. 2 rack spaces vs. 12.
For $5k its 4 hdmi in, 150/300 watts (8/4 ohm) by 7 channel, 12 band parametric dsp per channel. Actally not a bad price for all it does.
Ill let ypu know how it works out after we install and calibrate. 4 hdmi? That is funny! It is a beast piece, but 4 hdmi?

Well done on the 1M. Very excited to install this unit in our demo theater. Really trying to step up the quality of our audio systems. In looking at your website, you do some nice work!

Now I understand why the stealership chargers $350 todo an oilchange. Stupid Boats!!

what kind of PWCs did you get? looking at a couple right now. I have a 2011 Sea-Doo GTI-130 and just picked up (should say stole) a 2012 GTR-215. for the second ski I was looking at getting a GTI155 but found out seadoo put the 215 supercharged motor in the same hull as the GTI series and for a few hundred bucks more it was a no brainer. I was able to find the last 2012 left over on the east coast in virginia and they wanted it off their racks bad so i jumped at the opportunity. Not sure what your riding style is but man is the hull on the GT seres amazing. well balanced and just all around fun. My aunt and uncle have a RXP-X 260 and honestly that thing is work to ride, its quick and turns on a dime but its just not as fun as the GTI's IMO. it has more power but i want to be out on the water enjoying it and not "working" to have a good time. Then again im more of a cruiser do a few donuts hit a few waves kinda guy. Not a racer/solum kinda dude. Sea-Doo is definitely top shelf with their designs and engines. If you ride in salt water the closed loop cooling is a no brainer! 2012's are still floating around, try to pick one up and save yourself some cash!! which models/brands are you looking at?

I was originally looking at the yamahas because I think their motors are one of the best in the industry. At the last minute, we looked at the seadoo gti SE 155 or limited 155. They offer a little more bang for the buck it looks like. I'm just wondering if they are forced to do that to compete with Yamaha. Yammy has had the number one pwc for many years.

Sea-Doo's 155 engine is the same as the 130 except it has a different crank shaft and a different ECU map. The rotax engine is near bullet proof, it has been out for so long and been refined over the years that there is not much to go wrong with it now. the 155 is perfect, i often wished i had paid the couple extra hundred bucks and went with the 155SE at the time. Figured 25 additional HP wasnt going to matter but when you hole shot it in the 130 you wish there was just a little bit more oomph. Dont get me wrong, the 130 is plenty fun but you will be extremely happy with the 155 if you choose to go with it. Maintenance on them since its a NA engine is pretty basic since it has the closed loop cooling. You can easily close it out yourself, it takes about an hour once you know how todo it. You really dont need to pay the stealer to winterize it so factor that into your decision. At 10 hours you need to bring the ski back to the dealer for them to "activate" your warranty, no way of getting around that. It is a oil change and some other diagnostic stuff so check into your dealers cost's on that. I dont think sea-doo is doing it on purpose, they have always been on the cutting edge of skis & boats. Yamaha just redid the hull's this year because sales were slipping. IMO they need more then just a HULL redesign, they have looked the same for years ;) When I was looking originally in 2011 I looked at yamaha and honestly just wanst impressed, and shocked that they still used the sea/lake water to cool the engine. Since i ride in salt water i didnt want the hastle, i also have read about the engines blowing up becasue it sucked up debris in the cooling intake. They also felt "cheap" to me. I thought the IBR on the seadoo's would be a gimmick but it really isnt. the reverse is really nice, its funny at the ramp seeing everyone on the yamahas yanking that lever! When your going WOT and hit the brake it seriously "throws" you, especially if your not prepared for it. Seriously, go with the Doo over the yamalog. if you can, try and test ride both of them. the hull on the yamalog ive heard is not nearly as balanced as on the GTI/GTR but does solum a bit better. Good luck man! hopefully your looking at two because your going to need them ;) they are amazing, when your on them they melt the stress away. so i guess you can say they are good for your health!

This will be my 4th PWC, but first 4 stroke and first new one. I just got rid of my 1992 Seadoo XP, (that thing was so small and fun, it wasnt funny, you could literally jump, go under water, do hydroplaning 360s, etc) and a 98 yamaha waveventure 760 last year. I could have never drawn a conclusion between yammy and seadoo by those two. they were so different from each other and light years away from current 4 stroke modern hull designs. i guess it will be the seadoo. my wife likes it the best as well. the only other possibility is a pontooner!!!! to be honest, we would get more use out of the toon, but i dont want to spend what i would need to get what i would want right now. may try to do the tooner next year. i live 10 minutes from one of the top ten cleanest lakes in the country and highest lake east of mississippi, Lake Glenville. 30 minutes from one of the most gorgeous unpopulated lakes in the country, Lake Jocassee. and 35 minutes from the phenomenal Lake Keowee, 18,500 acres, 300 miles of shoreline. sooo, needless to say we are lake fans, during the summer, if we are not busy with family functions or working, we are on the water!! cant wait to get back at it!
