Actually, it is more than that. We are replacing a prepro, dsp and amp with this. 2 rack spaces vs. 12.

For $5k its 4 hdmi in, 150/300 watts (8/4 ohm) by 7 channel, 12 band parametric dsp per channel. Actally not a bad price for all it does.

Ill let ypu know how it works out after we install and calibrate.

Put finishing touches on this job today. Sonos music around the house, 4 zones, Radio RA2 throughout with honeycomb shades in kid's rooms and guest bed, roller and honeycomb in master bed. 8 Snap cams and DVR. Pakedge APs attached to cable router (not my 1st choice).

Photos show 58 inch Samsung and custom Triad speaker bar, shades in master, rack in hall closet, keypad with temporary label. P-Touch is great for this and a lot nicer than anything else we have used for temporary (before engraving is ordered) labels.

This is our 3rd house for this customer, hence the legacy gear in the rack.

Perhaps not the most exciting, but a nice job for us and relatively straightforward to install.

Very nice. However, I have a few comments:
1.  CD player is mounted over shoulder level.
2.  Power switch bank is at my 2 yrs old comfortable height.  I hope HO does not have kids as mine.
3.  Never seen networking years are placed at bottom of the rack.

I finally broke down and bought a cargo van (2010 Chevy Express 2500) instead of using my truck after all these years.

Now where was that van organization thread..... ;)

Interesting. My van "finally" broke down today. Sitting in the POS now waiting on the tow truck. I have to spend the weekend looking for something new. I've dumped far too much money into this.

I actually pulled out my iPad and emailed the dealer while I was waiting for the tow truck.

Anyone know of a cargo style van, but not a full size cargo van, that comes with AWD. I have a Savana Van but I am looking for something in the Safari Van size. I have been told that they do not make the Safari anymore, or at least not with AWD. I would like the NV but I do not see that it is available with AWD or 4WD.

Vermont winters and mud seasons, I really need the AWD.

The NV RWD with good snow tires (Michelin LTX Winter) and traction control got us through Canadian winter.

Used NVs should be available well under $20k. They were when I looked and bought, though I got a fully loaded high roof V8 version...with the shelving. Hard to find used with the shelving....but worth it if you do.

Yep...just sunk $1600 into mine 2 weeks ago(included 4 new tires). windshield was leaking, $90 to reset. I left there and it decided to piss radiator fluid everywhere. That is $407 installed and now needs a $255 power steering pump.....it never ends

I told you if I didn't travel on the Merritt Parkway most of the time where trailers are not allowed, I most definitely would. Would still need a truck to pull it of course.
