I love those types of jobs, but the hardest part is trying to figure out what they all have, and how it is all integrated BEFORE you start pulling stuff out.

I rode a carousel and was convinced to ride the ferris wheel 3 times today. I swear, I think kids are better at talking you into stuff than girlfriends. Or maybe I've just been married too long to remember what I would do when dating.

Today i changed to the share everything plan at verizon. My old plan was about $125 per phone (tax & fees included) each month. Both phones had unlimited text and 900 minutes talk and 2gb data.

Now i have both phones and my ipad with unlimited text, calls and 6gb of data for $170 before taxes. It will probably end up being $220-$250 a month after taxes and fees.

So i get more on existing phones, ipad is tossed in for free at or lower than what i was paying before... I keep waiting for the catch.

Our Sprint family plan with unlimited everything on 4 phones (premium data on 2 of them) comes out to $235/month

Went to the ER last night at about 11pm  in terrible pain with a Kidney Stone. Got good and drugged up and was home around 2am still in pain but not as bad. Woke up and passed the little bastard about 8:30am.

Today is now a bit screwed as I'm sort half here from all the pain killers last night.

Lol. This wasn't my first rodeo. I've had 2 others that were bad like this and head to go to the hospital. The first one was there worst, I didn't have insurance and didn't know what the hell was wrong with me. It took 2 days to pass and 2 visits to the ER. Total bill was about $10k.

Next was a few years later while I was doing some work on my house back in Idaho. I had insurance then, but its sucked. That took two ER visits also because the first doc was a prick and b/c I would let him do a CT scan on me wouldn't give me anything stronger than IBProfen. I knew from the first Stone that there was another in there that would some day come out and that was probably what was happening. 2nd visit the Doc was more understanding and loaded me. That was probably 3-4 years ago and cost me about $3k after insurance.

When this one started I knew exactly what was going on from the past expereince and just had my wife take me in. The drugged me, did a CT scan, confrimed it was a kidney stone and the best part, total bill $0.00. My wife works at the hospital and with our insurance, anything at her hospital is 100% covered.

Today I'm just a littley dopey and sore but the agony is gone.

It was their utility light, the staff goes in there often to switch the channels on the cable boxes. The current control solution is push-button keypads that came with the multi-zone audio system chassis, no metadata, feedback of any kind, except for what source was selected. The original installer left the default source keycaps on all the interfaces, no one knew what source to hit to control what device. Figured out that I have to press "DVD" to listen to XM. Not even a cheat-sheet to be found.

Hoping to sell them a REAL control system and a Video matrix. We'll see...

Looks like a sweet job. Sell them a quality wifi network while you're at it, one with a guest account. Maybe a few outdoor APs, too.
