Pretty much finished this up this weekend. This project started out as installing a new pre/pro into an existing system. Then slowly but steadily it was added to until his AV cabinet was over loaded, and after months of moving and adding things, not all by me it became a disaster.

I'm waiting on rack ears for one piece, then I'll add the rest of the trim strips and get a brighter photo of the front.
Hey, careful man, there's a beverage here!

Out with the old early 90's glass crap and in with the black steel! Looks great, Dave.

Oh god. I have to program a new Aton AH66T tomorrow. I'm just looking at the software now. Oh god help me. It's a shinier version of ViaTools. Not even that much shinier.

Great job. Just curious, are the racks built-in to the cabinet, or did you buy a cabinet and then add the racks??

awsome arrangement!  Those look like Salamander Synergy series, curious about rear rack rails also.

Its a Salamander Synergy Triple Triple with Salamander rack rails in the front and back. It was a nice little project.

The customer just kept adding, first it was the Marantz Separates, then he upgraded his front speakers, then we added a parasound amp, then playing around I bridged it, then added another, then a new DVD, CD, Prodigy, additional power conditioners, then the Totem sub and Amp. Then we added the projector and motorized screen which isn't in the picture. So finally we went with the salamander and either rack ears or RSH shelves for all of the equipment. It gives me 45 spaces and I used them all.

Dave, that looks great!

Sell him a new center. And a turntable.

Nice!
I keep pointing my remote at the turntable but, it never advances to the next track.

That looks like a Mite-T in there now (which is an AMAZING speaker for the price). Curious what you're putting in to match with the L/R. Rainmaker? Model 1?

I love the rig, Dave. Looks fun.

Drove 2 hours to a job site today to install a Monster powerline 200.

Ethernet over powerline. Never used this one before. plugged one end into the wall outlet near the equipment. I started making network cables when all of the sudden, Boom! It sounded like the TV blew up. I didn't know what the hell happened at first. Then an ear piercing alarm sound. The thing blew up! Either something surged on the line or it was a defective part or they have something bad going on in the electrical. Did I have another one on the truck? Of course not.
I will be back tomorrow with a new one.

I just want to shoot myself. Good thing I had other customers to check on to make the trip worth it. Today sucked.
