Friday i took delivery of my New nissan Workvan! [IMG] [/IMG] It rained all day Yesterday so i took that time to plan out the shelving and whatnot in the van. Today I crammed 15 pounds of sh!t in a 5 pound bag. Actually the van is so clever i didnt really have a problem. It was more going through random boxes and things that got lost in the trailer and figuring out what to toss and what to keep took up all the time. Took me 6 hours but its finished. Im waiting for american van to get the Nissan stuff in so I can order the ladder racks (local upfitter wants an arm and a leg for them. I also de-badged the back to get it less cluttery. IMO it needs to be done especially if your having it lettered. Took me 20 minutes todo but im a pro at it as i de-badge all my cars :) Its going straight to work this week so ill be writing a review with interior pics and all the features for you fellow RC'ers next weekend [IMG] [/IMG] [IMG] [/IMG] [IMG] [/IMG] [IMG] [/IMG]

I saw "I Love You Phillip Morris" Friday, and it took me this much time to build up the courage to admit that I saw the movie. No, I didn't know what it was about, and I have a new found respect for Jim Carrey; I couldn't do a role like that, not that there is anything wrong with that...

Nice van..... what's the size comparison to a Chevy 2500 Van? That's what I'm hauling around at the moment.
Although I think i'll be getting a new work van soon. I was asked for requests the other day..... I said cruise control, power side mirrors (hated having to scrape them in winter an always moving on me) and some sort of arm rest for my right arm. Cruise is the biggest thing for me.... being 6'4", I don't fit too well and cruise helps so much on the long hauls.

Nice truck! What kind of gas mileage? I didn't notice, but is it a hybrid?

Cruise is the biggest thing for me.... being 6'4", I don't fit too well and cruise helps so much on the long hauls. Its bigger and has much more usable space. Although its not *Much* bigger you can fit alot more stuff. I hear you on the cruise control. Im 6'3" and this was a must, It comes standard on the SV package from Nissan. They also have a heated mirror option but I didnt get it, although the SV package comes standard with power mirrors with blind spot mirror. Look into them, their isnt too many out there and the problem is they have shut down production on the NV's due to the issues in Japan. These vans are built here in the U.S. but all the parts come from Japan. On April 19, 2011 at 12:58, Mr. Stanley said...

Loaded with all my gear i get 20.1 MPG. City the gas milage tanks down to 13.4 mpg. So altogether i would say im getting an averge of 16.3. Not bad, much better then the GM's and Fords. I did get the v6 version as the nissan v8 drinks gas, granted its a 2500 and the engine is brand new so it still has some breaking in to do; im going to say ill averge 17-19mpg once its broken in.

Almost complete. Still need to install Symetrix DSP and voice the room. Also need to take care of that fiberglas lump under the stretch fabric. We had our trim carpenter install the track and we stretched the fabric ourselves-a more time consuming job than I anticipated. The ceiling is from iSky and looks fabulous, good folks to deal with. We will need to remove the blue LED from the front of the ceiling as it really casts a blue tint onto the screen. Photos of rack to follow along with before and after response curves. Cheers,
