RTI distribution is changing hands in Oz so today I went to there warehouse, which is not too far from me, and got 2 x T2Cs (new), a T2C (demo but 95%), an RP-1 and a bulk bag of Niles emmiters and covers (24) for $123,900 AUS, about $145,700 US. A touch over 27 times the normal price. Me sad!

WTF?

is this serious? you can get some kick a$$ crestron or amx panels and system for that?

is your cost of living/incomes 27 times higher then the U.S?

No, Hutch posted the actual prices the first time round - and somebody balked at it, so it was edited and changed to something... ludicrous! That way the customers won't know how much he saved!

Snoose Junction Pizzaria... North Seattle....

I did this one awhile ago but just photographed it today. It is controlled by two Crestron 6L touch panels... one in the bar and one at the front counter. 6 stereo zones plus a 7.1 system in the bar using Triads, Audio Control, Marantz (never again) and Crestron.

I just got in. We are doing a small Retro Project.

Panasonic 50" above brick, but finished off, fireplace in a very old Oakland house, Lath & Plaster, YAY!

Totem TAW-8 in-walls for 4.1 with Dreamcatcher sub. Denon AVR1910 and LG Bluray. Everything wired to the basement, lower level area in a SnapAV rack. MX900+MRF260 for control. We had some interesting fish work to get the power and sub across to the display where we have conduit going outside and into the crawl. This house had true 2x4's as well.

Tomorrow we just have to cut in the rear speakers, retro a network line from the top level to the crawl, connect up the system and be done.
do wino hue?

i wrapped up a delivery/orientation on an 82' Viking today.  They added a DirecTV receiver, 19" Samsung, and wireless router to the package, and I got that all wrapped up in about 4 hours.  The owners took me out to dinner afterwards to a pretty fancy restaurant.  I enjoyed a glass of Grand Marnier 150 after the meal.  (found out later that it was $55 for the glass)  Gotta love working for rich folk. :)
