The red is waaaay too loud. I like gradients and lighting effects vs translucency for the background. The red might work if i did it in a dark color but i don't want to invest any time into another dark template when i already have one.

Light shades of blue always look good. Did you see the stuff gwstudios posted in the GUI contest? That type of template will work anywhere. Did you see the Victor button kit from guifx? Or the screenshot of the template they are working on Victoria? Those buttons are very realistic. They are like pearl or polished brass or something. Not sure what to call them.

BTW i have deciphered their naming strategy :)

Dean (boy) button kit
Deana (girl) Template
Victor (boy) button kit
Victoria (girl) Template

I have a suggestion for the next one...

Mac button kit
Maxine Template

I need to get out from behind my desk for a while.. i think i might be losing my mind LOL!

A client once told me: "The reason I am building a big house... there are more rooms to hide from my wife..."

I hope you don't have the same excuse :).

Today I continued with my dog sitting duties. Our dog managed to break her leg, was a compound fracture of her front left leg and involved both bones

We have to keep her on bed rest for the next 4-5 weeks with weekly checkups

Her surgery included 5 pins through the bones with external rigging to stabilize the bones. then some serious Hot Dog bun wrapping to cover it all up.
She is able to get up and go out for potty breaks every 5-6 hours

So home time has increased since Wednesday night. She came home from the doggie hospital Friday afternoon

So far all is well and things will get better, just a bummer as we dont know what happened or how it happened..

Glack, thats terrible bro. Its debatable as to who hurts worse, you or the dog. It's times like these that you just wish you could speak puppy. Hope she feels better soon.

RTI distribution is changing hands in Oz so today I went to there warehouse, which is not too far from me, and got 2 x T2Cs (new), a T2C (demo but 95%), an RP-1 and a bulk bag of Niles emmiters and covers (24) for $123,900 AUS, about $145,700 US. A touch over 27 times the normal price. Me sad!

Brutal Glackowitz,

I know the feeling, my Shar-pei broke her leg a few years ago, 6 weeks in a cast only to find out it didn't heal right and they had to reset it. Another 6 weeks arg!

She was up and moving around today a bit, went out for a few potty trips and moved along pretty good.

Got started on a nice project that's coming up to trim. Recessing the shades into the coffered ceiling. Hard to see from pic but you can see the cavities about the windows
