Doesn't appear that the kit comes with a drywall saw, although I see they sell it as a separate piece (on the right).
So, if all I get is the kit, how am I suppose to pass that extension cord thru the wall? With a hummer?

Spent most of the day pre planning the attack on this freaking nightmare. This was a forclosure with some bitter homeowners and they took everything including the sinks, toilets, fixtures, cabinets, counters, switches, plugs, speakers, can lights and you name it! Still scratching my head and back there in the morning. Did I mention this has to come together in 15 days!
Toneing all day tomorrow!

Oh! and they cut all of the structured wiring at the bottom of the can before they took that! Alarm wires are cut! Central vac pipe is cut!

NIGHTMARE!!!!

There are way too many more pictures to include the rest or to even think of mentioning the guest house or garage.

They Treasury Dept. hasn't printed enough money yet for me to get into that nightmare.  I would just tell them that the quote is going to be as my 10 yr old son says.  "a gazillion dollars".  I hope that's the only thing you have to do for 2010.  But seriously, good luck to you.

the sockets were all pretty small. I kept getting a kick out of the theat"re" spelling on the package.

Thats how the rest of the English speaking world spells it!
Wireless speakers? Of course Sir. Choose the colour and size you like. As you don't seem to think sound quality is important, I will not plug them in.

15 Days?!?
I'd tell them NFW, 30 maybe.
What happens if you are not finished?
What happens if something is damaged beyond a basic repair?
What happens if (insert any scary thought here)?

Better get a few rolls of electrical tape :-) Just kidding, time and materials, at least two people, two weeks is doable.

Hope you don't have any other work or paperwork coming up for next two weeks.
Looks like a lot of work, but it should be fun.
Nothing like making first quarter's labor quota in the first 15 days, right?

You guys are funny! It is a nightmare and we can only see half of the problems but I have 4 of the best and an on-staff electrician kicking this things ass. Its time and material with an extra allowance for three bottles of Excederin per day.
Many pictures to come. I may just put together a story on this one.

That looks like a serious nightmare, but think of how good it will feel to have that beast wrapped up. I applaud your attitude for even wanting to take that thing on.
Keep us posted
I am working on it
