I finished up the heavy lifting at an install today. Just have to go back and fine tune the remote and give the client the grand tour.

65" Panasonic Plasma
Denon AVR-2310CI
Samsung BD-P3600
TruAudio In-wall/In-ceiling
Panamax M4300-PM
URC MX-880

How did the find the installation and picture of the Plasma ?

Which model did you use ? TH-65PF10 or TH-65PF11 ?

I remembered you mentioned you will install similar unit

I used a Panasonic TH-65PF11UK. I think it looks great. It's heavy as hell, but a very nice TV overall.

Went out to do a troubleshoot... Speaker selector box was hot as heck. Amp distorting... I had wired a volume control backwards!!! I'm glad it was an obvious mistake... I was afraid a wire might have got nicked or something.

Just the other day I connected a new Motorola DCX3400 (model number may be a little wrong) but this new box had no vents on top and a fan in the back more like a Tivo. It also had IR in control on the back. These two things alone are pretty sweet. I think it also had USB (maybe for RS232 like the DTV box?).

Supports Mpeg4 Decoding, Dobly Digital Plus Decoding, 250 Gig HDD with some sort of a Media client option that allows you to share Recorded content with other non DVR areas(??) overall seems like a much better box to be working with.

yeah but motorola still makes them....unless they have improved the build quality of the cable boxes, they are still trash in my eyes.

Granted 232 control and IR in the back is exciting

Did u try the ir port on the back? I was under the impression it was an output for controlling a VCR.

We had been working with a customer that backed out of a spec home when the market went south. The customer had a existing 65" sony rear projection lcd the carpenter built the cabinet for. The prople who wound up buying the house wanted a motorized screen. We spent the day reconfiguring the cabinet to accomodate a existing 42" sony plasma they had. We will be mounting the screen to fall in front of the cabinet tomorrow, as well as cutting the sub and finishing the other speaker grilles for the doors.

Did not read your post first, just scrolled down to look pics. I stopped breathing for seconds; 'cause cabinet looks so familiar. A 60" Pioneer Elite/Chief double arm cantiliver mount, Marantz SR-9600, RTI-T4, and Sherbourn multi zone amp are gutted out of cabinet. Job was done about 2yrs ago.
