I'm using a schmartz PS3IR500 to control my PS3. I'm using control4 to control the schmartz. But when using the the C4 playstation driver, the up/down left right enter buttons work fine but the other keys are non-functional. I want to get the hex codes so I can assign the various commands to the keys of my choice.
I looked in the file area but don't see any PS2 codes.

Does anyone have a list of these?

I also tried to download makehex twice on my windows 7 laptop. Every time I double click the application icon try to install, nothing happens. It gives me the standard windows warning, and then I click "run" and it looks like a window will open for a millisecond and then it just stops. Annoying.

Also, to clarify: does this particular schmartz piece support on/off commands?

You don`t install MakeHex. You edit the IRP files in Notepad and then drag and drop the IRP file onto the MakeHex Application file...but you don't even need to do that now with the new MakeHex GUI. Just put MakeHex and the GUI in the same folder and read the readme files for instructions.
