I use a URC MX-900 with an MRF-350 base station. I've looked in the MX-Editor database and I guess I'm not sure what to look for? Am I looking for Sony PS2 or PS3?

I've read quite a few posts on other sites and they keep talking about PS2 but I see the PS3 listed in the database.

Maybe I'm missing the obvious here.

Is it as simple as choosing PS3 from the database?

I haven't bought it yet until I can figure that part out.

I don't recall the exact codeset you need, but it uses standard Sony DVD codes with PS2 extensions. Plus a couple of others for PS3 specific functions. My review has a cross-reference of the exact codes used by all adapters.

I just got an answer from Jim at Remote Shoppe and from what he said it sounds like the solution for me so I ordered one.

I'll post an update on how it works out after I get a chance to hook it up.

Interested to know if you got the ps3toothfairy to work with your MX-900. I've got an MX-880 with an MRF-350 basestation that I'd like to configure it with. The site says to use PS2 codes if there is no ps3toothfairy code set already in place. I want to have a solid plan in place before I buy so I know what I'm getting myself into. I had an IR2BT but it just broke down on me. I liked it, but if I can get a power down macro that actually works reliably I would gladly hand them over my hard earned cash!

NM....just saw the new roundup and will get one of these. Anyone recommend one to work well with a URC (MX-880)??
