I bought a used TSU9600 that came with a Polar Bear in-wall docking station. I disassembled the mount and removed the dock part. I 3D scanned the dock and used the model to 3D print a back plate and will be feeding 5V via USB C power. I'll upload pics to my server and share on this thread when I finish the project.

The modded dock came out nice and works well. Went with 5v 1.5A DC power adapter rather than USB-C for now. Soldering the power input wires to the dinky pads was challenging, but worked well. Did continuity checks to verify no shorts prior to power up and placing TSU9600 on dock modded to be tabletop dock. Will try to get pics up later this week. Wish we could directly upload pics to the Remote Central forums.

As promised, below is a link to my writeup on the TSU9600 Polar Bear Solutions dock mod. The info gathered and 3D model could be used to create a custom doc for the TSU9600. Only need to add power to the + and - positions on a 3D printed connector. Similar could be done for the TSU9800, but it may require a higher voltage than 5V given that the TSU9600 has dual batteries.

The original Pronto Adapter was 5VDC, 2A.

Thanks. I was going to use a 2A adapter, but looks like the 1.5A works fine since I didn't tap into the USB pins, just purely for charging the TSU9600. The service manual states 1.8A, so happy medium.
