My TSU 9600 went totally blank the other day. i've been trying, with the help of AI, to install the software on my comouter and try to replicate something half as good as i had (i dont have the file with all my scripts, etc), but apparently (according to AI) there is a menu where you can make the pronto learn ir codes. i cannot get into it and it's getting on my nerves, i get stuck in "creating backup folder" while trying to install the software, i've tried virtual XP, nothing appears to work. I think it's a very easy install so i could do it myself, but apparently it isn't. almost trying to give up entirely. Any ideas, help, tips, whatever??? God, it's so despairing....

You cannot learn codes on the Pronto, you must learn them through ProntoEdit Pro (PEP) or PEP2.

With regard to installing PEP2, there's a thread I created in this forum that explains how to install the software on Windows 10 or 11.

I will leave it to others for tips about how to use the editor.
