I am not a very old member, but am using the 9400 for 9 months now.
I moved from my appartment to a house, and there I needed the flexibility of the pronto device.

I already learned much thanks to the remote central site.

Hope to receive a registration code, so I can get acces again to the professional website.

regards,
Wim

PS: yes, the RC mail to Daniel is send ;-)

Hello from New Zealand Mr Tonks. I have just purchased an RU990 via auction (it is very rare that pronto devices are available in NZ). I have an original 1000 on its last legs and a colour 6000 and look forward to the RU990. I am familiar with pronto-edit version 4 and request that you consider me worthy of ProntoEditPro for the RU990.

I have not posted in these forums before but will endeavour to post my config file once completed. Whether anyone will like it or not is another matter...

Many thanks for your consideration.

Robin

As I mentioned in my PM, the RU990 is a ProntoPro NG (TSU7500) and does not use this software. This software is only required by the most recent "Pronto Professional" line, models TSU9300 through TSU9800.

I've had a number of requests for PEP3 from folks with the TSU6000 (ProntoPro) and TSU7000/TSU7500 (ProntoPro NG) - the latest software for those remotes is already available in RC's file area.

Even if you have a Pronto Professional, you don't actually need the beta of PEP3 (well, not unless you're one of the lucky few with a TSW9500)... you can always download PEP2 from our file area.

my harddrive in my other computer crashed and I have to add a new bluray player to my customer's tsu9600 and I need the software to open my xcf. files. Luckily I backed up all of my remote files on disc. I can prove that I programmed them because I put a button on the program as a help so that the could call me immediately if there was a problem. Any help would be greatful.

Hi, I understand that;

•The code is being provided to you personally as a Remote Central member, and you will not post or share this code with other individuals; nor will you distribute by any means anything obtained from the Philips website.

•ProntoEdit Professional 3.0 and related firmware are considered beta versions, and are not officially supported by Philips. Please do not contact Philips support for assistance with installation or use of this software. If you require any sort of help, please use the Remote Central forums – we’re more than happy to help.

I agree to above statements and would like to receive prontoedit professional 3.0. My e-mail address is [email protected] . Thank you for your help

If you have an XCF on a customer site, likely it was not developed in PEPv3 but rather PEPv2. The PEPv2 software is readily available in the files section here along with the latest GA versions of firmware.

Unless you have TSW9500 the only thing you gain is overlay capability. PEP2, available in the files section should suit just fine.
