Hi there,

Now we can connect using WPA, I'm using PeP 2.3.17 and the latest firmware on my TSU9600 I need to ask do I need an extender to allow my TSU9600 to connect to my router and eventually to my SqueezeServer. Or will my 9600 just connect directly to my wireless WPA system?

Many thanks, Tim.

In this set up, the Pronto talks directly to your wireless router / access point. No extender required.

The beauty of the Pronto PRO 9400/9600/9800 is that they need no other "connection equipment" to talk TCP/IP to a server (any PC/MAC/device talking to a Pronto is thought of as a server with regards to the Pronto). All you need is a valid wireless network. In the case of the 9800 there is a provision to connect it "Wired". IMHO, The real utility of the Pronto PRO is brought out when it is used in this manner with Prontoscript.
