Your TV probably has a failing power supply due to cheap chinese electrolytic capacitors used in the filter circuitry
Why don't you just google or yahoo "Philips TV blinking red light". I just did, but you need to do it yourself. You will not like what you find.
Many "posters" do not perform a simple search and prefer just to ask others as opposed to spending some of their time and effort. You got consideration since it is your first post. Stop being lazy!
