I'm assuming you're using PEPv2...

Create a new RS232 device in MyDatabase and add each of the commands. Make sure the transmission settings are correct for each code. Since these are clearly not hex commands, enter each one into the ASCII box. Each ASCII command will most likely need to be followed by a carriage return character ('\r').

Use a straight serial cable (not null-modem) for connection from the switcher to the RFX.

hello boss
thanks ever so much for your input however i'm very novice to the 232 world, would you mind giving me perhaps one line of codes for let's say input 1 in output 2 and i could figure out from that? i know it's too much to ask :)

It's actually easier than you think =)

For Input 1 select Output 2, I'm assuming it's the Output B select Input 1 in the list, so the corresponding command is "Port 21"

Enter "Port 21\r" in the ASCII box for the command, without quotes. Try with a space and without, either of those should do the trick. Also, make sure the command uses the same transmission format as noted in the middle of the page and that the correct extender and port are set. Apply this code to a button and test it.
