It's sad to see the awesome remotes of Pronto and others are now gone.....

I'm buying a new house and I want to replace my Pronto 9800 with an iPad.

I started looking at the IOS app's and many are going out of business or don't have the features

Here is a short list of what I can find...

UNIFIED REMOTE limited ability

VLC REMOTE CONTROL
X BOX SMARTGLASS
ITUNES REMOTE

I want the ability to setup screens and control 15 IR devices . What are folks using on their iPads?

Look into TouchControl. Pair it with Global Caché devices to control IR and RS-232 devices. IP control is native. Mostly the limit is your own creativity. You may be able to reuse bits and pieces of your ProntoScript. That said, programming TouchControl is fundamentally different from programming Pronto. My screens and interactions look similar to how I designed Pronto screens, but under the hood is different.

iPads and iPhones are much faster than Pronto and have better WiFi. Interactions that were not practical with the slow Pronto are now possible.
