I can not seem to find any IR codes to send the Home and End keys to my PC. I am using a USB-IRT reciever on the PC and trying to control my recording software (WinDvr) to Start and Stop with an MX-3000 and/or UEI S70.

Can anybody help?
Thanks

PS ... Ctrl-Alt-Del code would also be GREAT!!

Thank you for the codes, but they do not seem to be recognised by my PC. Does anyone have some different codes or an IR PC keyboard that they could learn the hex code from?

Thanks,

Sorry that those didn't work for you. I actually got those codes from the files section here. Work great for me in conjunction with the IR receiver I'm using which came with a WMC remote. Just purchased the remote for the IR receiver which under Windows 7 64-bit uses the standard, "Microsoft eHome Infrared Transceiver" device driver. Prior to having those codes I actually used EventGhost to emulate the "Home" and "End" keystrokes, so that's always an option for you. EventGhost is a great program to have running on your HTPC regardless.

I have EventGhost but have only looked at it briefly and have never tried to program it. Any chance you could send me a config file for it that has the Home and End events?

Thanks

Not sure a file would help as you have to capture the incoming response you plan to use then associating it with the action you've created. That being said, I could show you firsthand if you like. Just send me a PM if interested. Would take all of 5 minutes to show you if that. I have a LogMeIn Rescue account. Could easily get connected to your computer and walk you through it. I do remote based computer support for a living. You could also of course hit up the EventGhost forum. I'd imagine there are a number of YouTube videos as well showing how to do things in EventGhost.
