Is there such a thing?

Just so I can turn the power on/off.

Am needing to purchase a new TV cabinate, and would like to have a fan cooling my amp etc, but the only ones I can find are fans with manual power switches, which means I have to get my lazy ass off the couch to turn it on!

use the power out on your audio reciever, mine has 1 switched, so when i power off the reciever anything plugged into it also turns off.

Thanks for the replies, ended up getting one of these,

[Link: ji.com.au]

had a spare pc fan, and a 5v phone charger, so soldered the wires together(to power the fan, plugged the AMP into the master socket, the fan, and a few other bits into the rest and it works no worries.

My AMP doesn't have power-out, it's a few years old.

Beauty!

I use MSC-400 to turn my HTPC on/off.

Got a voltage sensor on the USB port which tells me if the computer is on or off and a relay from MSC-400 wired to the computer power button
