We're currently using K-scape but not pleased with how they are handling Blu-ray content. Also, pricing is still too high in my opinion, although I understand it is a luxury brand and their service is world class from my experience with them. I am also concerned that more companies will fold as did Escient, Imerge, etc.

I'd like to reach out and see which brands are being used or evaluated out in the field. Here is what I have found to be the top Media Server brands currently still in business:

- Kaleidescape
- Xtream Media
- Fusion Research
- Niveus Media
- S1 Digital
- Vida Box
- Envive
- Mozaex (seems the nicest so far)
- Others?

ReQuest (unreliable company) and Crestron ADMS (very complicated UI) don't make the list because I don't trust they are worthy products in this category.

Vidabox is in my opinion the most robust and is a very well run company. They keep coming up with products that are less expensive and do more.

I find that Vidabox evolves with the industry which is nice. There are plenty of other companies out there that just don't get it. Vidabox is not one of those companies. Thtey have a very big selection of products and offer something for almost every type of situation. Great control options, support and knowledge.
