Checkout Victoria from guifx. Very nice wood look. Or you could use the transparent templates like encompass or horizon from http://ntdesignsonline.com or Eclipse from http://blackmancustoms.com or x-ray from http://www.customcodecrafters.com.

The transparent GUI's are great to work with because you can skin them by swapping a single background image. This is super important as you start to work with larger GUI's that require a lot of time to lay them all out. (fyi this info isn't directed solely at you, i know you understand it, i am just posting for others who read the forums to learn).

Alternatively you can use any background texture and put transparent elements on top to define the navigation area. Use any buttons you want on top. Here is my 5 minute example.

thanks Mac - that Victoria does look nice.. I see they have the elements package for $500. Just have to see if that will fit into there project budget.

Where did you get that above background? Is that included in one of the templates you mentioned above?
