I am looking for some recommendations on a network media player that can offer Crestron control with cover art and meta information on the panel. Thanks for your recommendations

Sonos NO! NO NO NO NO NO NO NO! NEVER USE SONOS wCrestron! Sonos breaks things all the time and doesn't tell Crestron. Currently the Sonos app on the XX60 is out of date and neither Crestron nor Sonos have an ETA on getting it released.

Currently the Sonos app on the XX60 is out of date and neither Crestron nor Sonos have an ETA on getting it released. The only way I would use Sonos with Crestron is for it to be a non-controlled source and have the customers use their phones/tablets to control the Sonos player. Any other way you either get "Sonos broke the integration and now the TP won't connect" or you use the media player object and can only select the favorites stations stored within Sonos. I don't know what kind of "partnership" Crestron and Sonos has but it isn't one that benefits Crestron installers. If you don't NEED AppleMusic then install a device that actually works with Crestron like Autonomics, Denon Heos, etc. If you need to use AppleMusic then do as I mentioned above and have Sonos as a source and control it using the Sonos App on your phone.

Seeing as how Autonomic is an AirPlay device you can still use it for Apple Music

Sonos +1. Remember though that Crestron only supports Sonos on the TSWs from 760 and up

I have a number of them out there with zero issues. They've been running since the integration was available and all have worked flawlessly with zero customer complaints.

When I go home my phone sits somewhere and I don't touch it for the rest of the night. If I want to listen to something I use Alexa or a touch panel to navigate.

I remember an email coming out that this panel wasn’t supported.

I...I didn't know that was possible. Absolutely, If I come home and set my phone down somewhere it can stay there till I go to bed. I even turn my ringer off so I don't hear it and have the feeling of needing to get to it to read the email/text message or answer it. I don't need to be connected 24/7, and it's nice to just be around people and not be looking into a screen all night or trying to have a conversation and them looking into their phone because the facebook/twitter/instagram post is more important.

Autonomics is our preferred choice. The other is Heos.
