You can download from crestron site.

Just took a look at the protocol on the TiVo site. Not a lot to it regarding feedback, unless I missed something.

i'm using ir in my demo, so I can't speak to the crestron modules value.

Messing with this at home now. Do i set the Tivo IP Address in the I/O Default Address or do I go to Tivo Properties, then select "Parent Auxiliary Device Properties" and set the IP address there?

I'm guessing one is for the Tivo and one is for the Processor, which is which?

I have the most recent software.

Doesn't work as in, nothing happens. I can press and hold and put in the presets, but it's as if the number commands are not sent. I'm wondering if is has something to do with how the dynamic preset module is made and not designed to work with ip commands???

/EDIT
Try this:

in the TIVO properties CONFIGURE the Dynamic Extender.
Clk Commands
change [Enter] from Key_Enter to Direct_Channel_Enter

/EDIT

I opened the ip module and I am having some trouble understanding how the sequencing of the input to the device is being handled.

It is different then the other rs232 and ip modules that i have looked at.

I think there can be timing issues with some of the commands, the numerical commands in particular. Will need to look at it when rested.

Make a button that sends out an acceptable channel change (for your cable co/ satellite)

If that works then it will be interesting to see how the innards of the dynamic preset sends out the command.

Suggest you watch it in the debugger.

So I kept going into to the "Configure" option once I opened the Dynamic Preset Extender and didn't see the "COMMANDS" button at the button that can be configured also. I opened that up and found that non of the commands had been assigned yet.

I'm guessing this normally happens automatically when using a regular cable or sat box, or if the Tivo with IR controls. I just went in and assigned everything and will be testing, but i'm sure it will work now.
