Did the PTX3 recently go up in price? If I remember correctly, is was about $100 or so less last time I purchased extra PTX3's. Who has price increases these days??

Yes the price did go up. both cost and MSRP. It's still cheaper than a T3V or MX5000 and not much more than a T2C. IMO, still a great value.
The PLX3 is suppose to be shipping this month which will be half the price of the PTX3

I understand the value proposition, but good lord, that seems ridiculous. Especially with such a shoddy build quality in my opinion. It's basically a 45-ish% price increase on an existing product. It doesn't make a lick of sense and will push people into iPad control. Me included. I love the PTX3, but at the new price Im not in love with it. WTF is Crestron thinking??

I like to think of Jesus as an Ice Dancer, dressed in an all-white jumpsuit, and doing an interpretive dance of my life. |
