I am not used to programming, but one of our techs set me up(emailed) with an update for my MSC-400 and MX 3000. I downloaded the Complete Suite from Universal and all went well. Unfortunately when I try to connect to the MSC 400 it indicates "MSC400 not connected" or the like. The MSC is recognized by the computer, but it asks to put in an installation cd to update the software? I do not have any cd or at least with this MSC. Do I need a update disc or is something else wrong. It happens on both my desktop and laptop. Thanks

When it asks you to install a driver, point it to C:\Program Files\Universal Remote Control, Inc\MSC Editor\drivers\MSC-400\WinXP,Win2000

No problem... on mine I also had to re-point it to that directory for a particular file that it couldn't find.
