I have a couple of remotes that need new batteries. I've bought replacement batteries off eBay and Amazon in the past, but I've found the crappy generic batteries on those sites to be very inconsistent when it comes to quality/performance. Does anyone have a source for a reasonably priced, high quality replacement battery?

You can get the original quality battery straight from URC. Part# is BATT-MX-980. MSRP is $43.95

If for some reason URC will not sell you one direct, there are some brand new original batteries on eBay for sell. They seem to go for between $35 - $45 dollars. Search using that part #

I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.

Thanks for the response, Brad! I see on eBay that there are two URC batteries available. They are both listed for $35, but one is 1330mAh and the other is 1960mAh. They both appear to be legit OEM batteries, so I'm confused about why they have different specs. What accounts for this discrepancy, and which battery is the better option?

Thanks for the link! So based on URC's own site, it looks like the correct battery for the 880/980 is the 1330mAh one.

Yes, correct one is 1330mAh.

I looked on eBay and found the one you saw had 1960mAh. That is actually part# BATT-TRC1080. Different battery and the guy has it listed incorrectly.

I'm not arguing, I'm explaining why I'm right.
