At the top ribbon, there is a tab called 'View'. On that tab, you will see a section you can check or uncheck to show/hide different programming windows. Make sure the one called 'Properties' is checked.
Click on the button you want to modify and you will see in the 'Properties' window, where you can type text, change its color, position, font, and size.

That got it done, my remote is coming along nicely thanks to you. I am running the ccp software on my Microsoft surface and it looks very small, is there a way besides lowering the resolution of the Surface to get the ccp software to fill the screen?

I found this in a auction for a RFX-250i.
This say the base and RFX-250i have to match.
I guess I will see when my RFX-250i gets here.

"Note that the MRF-250 and MRF-250i differ only in operating frequency (MRF-250i is 433MHz, MMR-2500 is 418MHz); however, i-series antenna/receivers must be matched with i-series base stations"

Is there a way to record a macro and end it on a device page? When I click on the device while recording it doesn't record.

There is a separate button you click at the top "Jump". It is 6 buttons over from the macro record button.
That is where you tell it what page you want it to land on after the macro.

Got it thanks. It doesn't work when you run test via USB but unplugged it works, I struggled with that for a few minutes 😊

There is a whole section on this website, full of icons and images for remotes.
Up at the top, link labeled "FILES". It is right next to the link "FORUMS" that you are on right now.

As far as using them on an MX-990. I have on idea. I know some of the URC remotes are very complicated to get 3rd party graphics into them. Not sure if the MX-990 is one of those or not.

I received the RFX-250i and it works with the MRF-350.
I need help getting my Roku and NVidia Shield working, They are both RF devices right? so i need to have them listed as RF and pick the correct data base and it should work but it doesn't.

Hmmm.... No! That's not how that works.

1) Radio frequency control is usually proprietary. There is no such thing as a universal controller for RF products.
2) Your URC remote broadcasts on 433MHz narrow band. Roku and NVidia Shield use WiFi frequencies (2.4GHz).

Your MX-990 controls products by Infrared (IR). Either emitting the IR directly from the front of the remote or by transmitting the data RF to the base station, where it is emitted thru the IR ports on the base station to the equipment.

The Roku has an IR receiver for responding to regular IR commands. So either you program your MX-990 to control the Roku directly. Or thru the MRF-350 by sticking one of the IR emitters on the Roku, from one of the 6 IR ports on the MRF-350.

The NVidia shield is a little more complicated. Depending on your model, it may have an IR receiver built in. Or if it has no IR receiver, then you have to get an IR dongle to plug into the NVidia USB port to control it via IR.

I just looked back in the posts and seen all the things you are wanting to control.
Although the MX-990 can easily work all of that, for someone that appears to not have much knowledge of control systems, this is going to be a long & difficult journey.

Is there a drop down screen that goes in front of the Sony TV? Or are we talking about 2 different rooms?

How are you setting up the Home page to work for the 2 different viewing situations?
