I am using several MX-780s with a MRX-350 base.

I have multiple TiVo units in a system so when using any of the TiVo devices I have the IR Output set to a specific Port (rather than ALL). Yet, while using the TiVo in the kitchen (local TV), I want to program a 2nd page of soft buttons to manage the volume of the Main Receiver from the Family Room. Unfortunately, since the TiVo is using Port #2 and the Receiver is connected to the MRX-350 on Port #1, I can't figure out how to do this.

Is there any way when programming a button to dynamically switch the IR Output port so it can be different than the default for the Device?

Thanks, Jeff

If you just alias the buttons from the receiver than it will follow the ir routing for that device. In other words, on page 2 where you want to add the soft buttons, create your buttons (receiver vol+, receiver vol-...) Click on those buttons one at a time in the simulator window and then click Macro programming. When it starts recording, in the tree view, select your receiver on the left side of the window and click Volume +, and then click the Macro record button to stop the recording. Do the same for each button you wish to alias over.
